Many times people ask if both of the girls are on the same schedule. Yes! If they weren't, I would probably lose my mind. They do pretty much everthing at exactly the same time- eat, sleep, play, poop. It seemed like it took forever, but they have been taking good naps now for a few months. For quite some time they would just cat nap throughout the day. Now they go down around 11:30- 12:00 and sleep for about two hours. They may doze off early in the morning or later in the evening, too. I took these pictures a couple days ago. I love to peek into their room while they are sleeping. They are so peaceful and sweet. It is easier to admire all of their little features when they are not rolling around the living room!

Good, warm weekend

Summer weather
Finally, it is getting warm! It is so much easier to have the girls dressed in just a romper (faster for diaper changes, no socks to be lost, etc.). We really enjoyed the weather this afternoon. We ran a few errands, then we went over to our friend Katy, Maya, Adam, and Jack's house to hang out and swing. One of Katy's twins (two and half year old boys), Adam, was pushing Maddie. She loved it! She giggled at him the whole time. Better look out- he seems to be smooth with the ladies :)

Madeline clapping
We are still working on it! Lena is doing about the same as Maddie-one hand open, the other in a fist.

Easter weekend
Long trip to Illinois for Max! Poor guy, he didn't know what to do. He usually rides in the front seat, but I was in it. He turned in circles for hours. I don't think he likes the floor, because as you can see from the next picture, he shoved all 77 pounds in a tiny space between the car seats.
We put Grandma straight to work. Dad supervised from the couch with his eyes closed.

Maddie beating up on grandpa. She loves to hit people in the face when they are holding her. I'm not sure why.
The girls had such a busy weekend...finally down for a nap!
I think this is Max's long lost brother Jack. He is my oldest brother's dog. His fiance and I got the pups for our men the same Christmas- random. They are pretty much the same size and look so much alike. I was supposed to watch them when I let them outside to play. I didn't know how fast they were or how much they liked to play together. They took off (Jack had come straight from the groomer's- sorry, Andrew, I probably owe you 30 bucks.) My brother had to get in his truck and hunt them down. Jack came when called, but of course Max had better things to do- such as find a dead dog, splash in the mud, and roll in fish guts. I don't think I will be asked to babysit again.
The girls trying to eat Uncle Andrew's sweatshirt.
M and L were a bit fussy one morning (One of Maddie's top teeth are coming in). My dad turned on Dora, and this was the reaction. They both immediately quieted down and stared at the TV.
Great Grandpa Kenny holding Lena. I think he taught them how to clap this week. He would do it, then they would imitate. I will try to get them on video doing it soon. I love that they learned this from him!
Julie giggling with Maddie. It was too cute!
