I found M and L with these things in the floor this morning.

Me:  Girls, what are you doing?

Them:  Uh, nothing (running away).

Lena: (a few minutes later during breakfast) Mom, maybe someone broke the crayons on accident.

Jolie got her ears pierced at the pediatrician today!  By the way, she is five months, and she now weighs 14 and a half pounds- growing like a weed.

Maddie and Lena had their first field trip last Thursday for preschool.  We went to Hidden Creek Farms in Sunbury.  They saw farm animals, rode on a hay ride, picked pumpkins, went down the big pumpkin slide, and played in the "corn box."  We got to pick out gourds before we left, too.  It was great to get to talk to their teachers and see the girls interact with their classmates.  Jolie tagged along in her Baby Bjorn...happy as a clam the whole two hours.  The kids loved it!  Lena fell asleep for her nap clinging to her gourd.  They have been carrying them around since then.  They mostly use them as microphones to sing into now, but what else are you supposed to use them for?!

Harry and Jerry (names picked completely by Maddie and Lena)- newest members of the Parmentar family.  They have already been around a week, which is longer than I thought they would last.

Happy four year anniversary to us!  Chris took me to a really nice restaurant here in Columbus to celebrate.  Dinner was delicious, drinks were yummy, and the bill was cheap...thanks to the waiter spilling a drink in my lap.  We joked that this anniversary would be more memorable because of it.  Thanks to our waiter Trevor we will have something to laugh about for many years to come.
