The zoo in January

It has been around 40 degrees the last few days, so the snow has melted and the sun even came out one afternoon. Unfortunately, by the time we made it to the zoo yesterday, it was a little under 30! It was brisk, but totally worth the trip. We got some super cool pictures with the tigers- they were being extra frisky! M and L seemed to enjoy seeing the animals. Since the zoo was not very busy, we got up close and personal with the tigers, gorillas, and elephants. It was awesome!

Here kitty kitty...

One of the tigers even pounced on the glass where a little girl was leaning on it. We couldn't believe she didn't cry, but everyone in the area gave out a little scream when it happened!

Haha! When I was looking over the pictures when we got home, I thought this guy was flipping us off! Not quite, but it still gave me a good laugh.
This gorilla was cracking me up. He is sound asleep on the floor- mouth wide open and drooling!
