18 month checkup

I took the girls to the pediatrician this afternoon for their 18 month checkup.  They are remembering now that each time they go they get shots.  At the end of the appointment, the nurse carried in the tray of shots, and immediately both girls got fussy.  Maddie was up first.  She was crying pretty hard before she was even on the table.  As soon as the shots were over, she stopped crying, sat up, said "all done", and then "thank you."  It was priceless!  The nurses (the office is awesome, they always provide us with extra hands!) both busted out laughing.  So did I.  Maddie was grinning, too.  Overall, they both did really well, and we all made it out in one piece.
