Hopefully we will be at this awesome playground again tomorrow. This is a brand new, huge playground in the next town over. It only takes about ten minutes to get there, and I have had a couple other people tell me about it. I took the girls for the first time this morning, and our Mom's Club is headed there tomorrow. I got brave and took some pictures today (usually I am afraid if I take my eyes off the girls for one second, they will take off in opposite directions). M and L were entertained enough that I could slip the camera out and get a few shots. The second picture is Devin. He is my friend Ali's little boy. I thought his pose was priceless!

who are those big girls??!! they are amazing me every post.
you know me, i'm always terrified to go anywhere for the same kinds of reasons, and i don't know what your usual strategy is but here's what i do the morning we are getting ready to go somewhere. the whole time we are getting ready and in the car i keep repeating to lola things like:
"so you're going to stay by me, you're going to stay in the cart, you're going to get a treat, you're not going to cry or get mad and when it's time to get back in the car you're going to be good and get right in." lola does much better when she "knows" what's expected of her. now that she's older, she'll even repeat some of those things back to me. her worst tantrums are on the weekends when don is home and he doesn't "prepare" her for what we're going to do. :)
skirts at the playground?
