I feel like I am waddling.  I sweat at the drop of a hat.  I have never been more uncomfortable.  I think it's official...I am really pregnant.

Grandma P came down for an early Easter visit.  She brought baskets filled with goodies for the girls (lots of fancy dress up stuff) who couldn't tear into it fast enough.  We did a lot of playing while she was here.  She even gave mom a few hours to herself- yay!- to run to the store and do organizing in Jolie's room.  She mentioned it was River's birthday, so the only appropriate thing to do was to make a strawberry cake and celebrate.  Maddie and Lena both said it was "silly" if we let a puppy blow out candles, so they volunteered to help.

Our cul-de-sac had a pre-Easter egg hunt last weekend.  The weather was beautiful, so we took full advantage.  It was so warm that the chocolate that was in the eggs melted before they were all found.  It was lots of fun.  The older kids filled and hid the eggs and the younger ones hunted.  We didn't get everyone in the photos, but I believe there were about 14 children.  We have awesome neighbors!

Max is such a good dog, and he just doesn't get enough press.  So, here he is...just chillin' in the hall.  He is waiting to see if I am going to stay upstairs or go back down before he can really relax.  He is my shadow.

Working in the yard with dad over the weekend.
Since Chris was golfing while we were at church I took M and L for a treat before we went home.  Donuts!  Jolie deserved one, too, so I gave her one...maybe two...but who's counting?

Chris and I took the girls to see their first movie last Saturday- Gnomeo and Juliet.  I think they may still be a little young.  We had many potty breaks, lots of snacks, and tons of wiggle time.  The movie came out a while back, so the theater wasn't too crowded.  Within the first five minutes of sitting down- and the first moment of silence- Maddie announced to the entire crowd that she needed to go potty.  Lena cheered after every preview.  We were a bit of a mess.  I wondered at one point if we were going to make it through the entire movie.  I grabbed some popcorn with about 20 minutes left in the show, and that settled everyone right down.  The girls didn't even make the ten minutes drive home before they passed out.  I think we'll wait until the end of the summer to give it another go.
M and L were happy to cheese it up for pictures after the show was over.  I just couldn't get one without popcorn in their mouths.
Lena loves to make silly faces.  This is her "go to" move.
I found this sweet sight one night after I put the girls to bed.  Daddy had gone up later to check on the girls, and they wanted him to tell them stories.  I think it wore everyone out.  Around 10:00 I realized I hadn't seen or heard from Chris in a while, and this is what I found.  I love that he had the pillow pet to sleep on.
