You can get this baby to smile all the time, but she rarely laughs.  I love this video!  My sister sent this gorilla puppet to Jolie for Christmas.  I think she likes it!

Christmas pj party at the Moorefield's house.  It was warm enough the kids jumped on their new trampoline most of the morning.  Nap time was excellent that day.
Practice for the church Cherub Choir.  Ages 3 through first grade sang a couple songs right before mass started.  There were well over 50 kids that participated.  It was priceless.

I took the girls to see the lights at the zoo a couple nights before Christmas with our neighbors.  The three older girls had fun looking at the lights, dancing to the music from the light show, looking at animals, sipping hot chocolate (M and L both spit theirs out initially saying it was SO hot- I tasted it...luke warm), and riding the carousel.  The weather was in the 50s, so we couldn't miss the opportunity to go.  It was packed by the time we were leaving.  Thank goodness Katie was there to help me keep track of the twins!

The twins had their Christmas party at school yesterday.  They made gingerbread men and decorated (or in Lena's case, ate the decorations) them at the end of class.  They also visited with Santa.  M and L are both stuck on asking for a Barbie microphone.  I think that is the only thing I didn't get them.  I don't think they will even notice on Christmas...hopefully.
Jolie got her first haircut last night.  Poor thing was looking a bit shabby.  Odd pieces fell out/rubbed off when she was younger, and others just kept growing- a bit of a mess.  I kept thinking we could push through it, since Maddie and Lena looked the same way for a bit.  However, the girl that does my hair has a little one just a month older than Jolie.  She offered to straighten it up for me, so I took her up on the offer.  She looks lots better now.  Adorable as always!

Lena and Maddie's preschool had a live nativity last week during their chapel time.  One of the church's pastors told the Christmas story, and they sang a couple Christmas songs.  The parents were invited to stay, so I did.  It was cute to watch the kids march in and behave so well.   Mrs. Denney and Mrs. Green told us that some of the kids wonder if the family is really Mary, Joseph, and Jesus.  So interesting how believable everything is to a child.

My friend Katy and I took our girls to see The Nutcracker at the McCoy Center here in New Albany yesterday.  All the girls were so excited that they got to dress up, and this trip was just for them.  They even complimented each other as we were getting out of the cars on each other's pretty shoes, dresses, headbands, etc.  So cute!  It was a long performance (a little over two hours), but we made it through.  I think the bathroom break about half way through saved us...well, that and the disgusting amounts of sweets.  What a fun annual tradition to start with our little ladies!

Abercrombie had their first ever family Christmas party.  M and L were so excited about going to daddy's work party and getting to see Santa...again.  We saw him last week at our church's Breakfast with Santa.  The girls were great listeners (it's about dang time) the whole day, and they were so polite to everyone while we were there.  We have been working a TON on not whining, manners, and listening to mom and dad.  Anyway, we made ornaments, went down the huge slide, bounced in the bouncy house, ate pizza, cotton candy, and kettle corn, and decorated cookies.  We were getting ready to leave with our freshly decorated cookies when daddy accidentally dropped them on the floor- oops!  So, we made a couple more.  And then we bribed the girls with going home to eat them.  Worked like a charm.
