Just a few more pictures that have been waiting on my phone- fun around the house, dad working in the yard, trip to the zoo, dad snoozin' with the twins, Jolie's first time in her crib.

These are some photos from my phone that were taken while Jolie and I were still in the hospital.  The last one is my favorite photo ever...Maddie and Lena taking their first glance at their baby sister.

get a load of those blue eyes and long, long lashes- a gift from daddy to all of his girls

Jolie is the most amazing baby.  She has fit into our family so well that it is clear she was made for us.  M and L constantly love on her, and she is so easy on her mom and dad.  We all know she was 9 pounds at birth, but she dropped to 8 lbs, 1oz while we were still in the hospital.  Monday I took her in for a checkup, and she was up to 9 lbs, 12oz.  She is a great eater- as are all the Parmentar babies.

Chris was in Paris for his birthday this year, so we celebrated when he got home.  The girls and I made a chocolate chip cake, wrapped presents, and signed cards the day before he came back.  It was a day of leisure (which, for Chris, is working in the yard...with two little helpers) and beautiful weather.  My man is getting old- 33!

Thank God for my mother-in-law.  She came and spent a week and a half with us (the girls and I while dad was in Paris for work).  She took care of Maddie and Lena while I recovered and took care of Jolie.  M and L loved every second of the extra attention...and I loved being able to take it easy and ease into things.  This week is the first time it is just the girls and I, and everything has been going really well.  I can't imagine having to do this by myself right off the bat though.  Thanks, Sue!

Grandparents and Aunt Steph come to visit!

Here are just some odds and ends from the first few days home after the hospital.  My mom came and stayed with Maddie and Lena while Chris and I went in for the delivery, and his mom has been here since we came home.  The girls have done a lot of playing outside (it is been beautiful).  They had a tea party on our new deck with their tea set, water, yogurt and vanilla wafers.  I caught Lena trying to get the last of her yogurt out of the container with her hand.
M and L are in love with their baby sister.  They love to touch her and talk about how pretty she is.  They also like to turn the music on to her bouncy seat and listen to it and dance.  They will help with pretty much anything I ask...as long as it is for baby Jolie.  Overall, they have been amazing since the baby has been home, and they love being big sisters.

Maddie and Lena were being super ornery at the hospital when they came with dad to pick Jolie and I up.  I was afraid it was a sign of what was to come, but they have been awesome.  I just love the look I caught Maddie giving while daddy was holding the baby.  When we got home they were proud and excited to show us the decorations they made with a couple of the neighbors for our arrival.
