My parents came to watch the girls for the weekend, so I could go down to meet Chris in Florida. The weather just didn't cooperate, and my flight was canceled (not to mention there wasn't another flight available until the end of the weekend). So, Chris came home, and we had a date night Saturday and went skiing Sunday. It was a much colder getaway, but fun none the less. My mom and dad were wonderful, and insisted we have our time alone even though we were right here in good old Columbus. I think they just wanted the girls all to themselves ;) Here are a few pictures before they had to take off early this morning because of the 6-9" of snow we are supposed to get today. Mom said the girls were so good all weekend, and this morning they demonstrated that by helping unload the dishwasher. Maddie tried to pretty us all up by applying lipstick to mommy, then to Grandma, then was politely declined by Grandpa, then did Grandma again. Max pretty much sticks to my mom's side like glue. We aren't really sure why this started. Every time she sits down, he is rubbing up against her and resting his head in her lap. Mom also said Lena loved on her baby doll all weekend. She had her again this morning showing her to Grandma. I did get to spend most of the day Saturday with mom, dad, and the girls. We took them to the mall to play in the kid's area. Maddie played half the time, and sat on Grandpa's lap and drank juice the other half. She has been quite the Grandpa's girl this trip. Turned out to be a pretty good weekend after all!
