We had a picnic on the carpet the morning it was torn out. M and L couldn't believe I was letting them eat on it- especially syrup!

These are the last photos of our tile and carpet. Last week we had wood floors installed on the first floor. They turned out beautiful. The girls and I went and stayed at my parents' while they worked on the house.

you are sooo lucky you got to get rid of the carpet! we looked into getting rid of our downstairs carpet last year but the hardwoods that we already have down on half the downstairs has been discontinued so we would have to replace the entire floor or have mismatched woods. boooo :(
